The Canterbury Men’s Selectors panel has now been confirmed ahead of the 2025 representative season. Exisiting selectors John Rademakers and Matt McLean will continue in their positions and will be joined by a new selector on the panel, Mark Patterson.
Mark himself enjoyed a solid golfing career primarily up to the early 2000’s representing Otago in many age-group teams, and partaking in the then New Zealand Golf national academy under Mal Tongue in 2000. Mark has maintained a passion for golf while balancing family life and his career which sees him working in growing regional economic development for the South Island, which has developed his skillset in statistical analysis and relationship management.

| Canterbury Men’s Team to play against Wellington | 16 Nov |
| Canterbury Men’s Team to compete at the NZ Interprovincial | 2 – 5 Dec |
Expressions of interest for potential Canterbury players will be released next week with more information to follow.
Canterbury’s Women’s Selectors
After two productive seasons, the Canterbury Women’s selector pairing of Cheryl Kemp (Convenor) and Pam Ellis have elected to step down from their positions for 2025. Canterbury Golf would like to express their deep thanks to both Cheryl and Pam who have undertaken the role over the last two campaigns to a great standard.
With Cheryl and Pam’s withdrawal Canterbury Golf strongly welcomes expressions of interest from any interested parties who may be interested in taking on these roles for the 2025 season. The full role description can be read – HERE.
