Having been involved with Canterbury Golf as a contracted Futures Coach since late 2021, Matt commenced the part-time fixed-term position of Event and Programme Facilitator with Canterbury Golf in January 2024. A former Canterbury and NZ representative player and current NZPGA playing professional, Matt brings a wealth of golf experience and enthusiasm to the role coupled with a Bachelor in Sport and Recreation Management.

This role includes the following areas of work:

• Delivery of Futures Canterbury Learn and Play coaching programmes
• Delivery support for Futures Canterbury events
• Delivery support for all other Canterbury Golf Events and participation programmes
• Administration support of Futures Canterbury
