The above Clearwater team from left, Trevor Inwood, Robin Clements, Steve McCormick, Phillip Iggo, Graeme White, Chris Hay, Peter Eggleton and Gary Moore took out the inaugural final of the Presidents Grade Knock-Out Trophy over Waimairi Beach’s Andrew Regaldo, Bryan Gillespie, David Smith, Doug Adams, Chris Anngow, Ron Marshall, Grant Carr and Christer Strom on Sunday.
The match was played at Templeton Golf Club in glorious conditions.
Clearwater prevailed 6.5 to 1.5, after the scores were locked at 4/4 at the halfway point.
